Game. Set. Match.

If you were at our house at 4pm on most weekdays, you'd probably be popping your runners on and coming on a walk with me, my husband and our dachshund, Chorizo.

Where we live in Oak Park is such a beautiful corner of the world, with tree-lined streets, cafe on the corner and the local footy club a stones throw away. On weekends you can even hear the roar of the crowd from our balcony.

As creatures of habit (all three of us are), we have three set walks we go on, but all of them walk through the footy club carpark and pass the local tennis club.

And that's when I hear her.

The local Tennis Coach, and today she's coaching about 12 kids, all around 8 or 9 years old.

She's there every single time we walk past after school without fail.

Listening to her, she teaches them the different boundary line names with fun games that make them giggle.

Other times I've seen her working one on one with an older kid, giving notes as they volley back and forth.

Her voice is so distinct, so supportive, never critical, but always helping each and every student she has find that thing that makes them shine and love the sport of tennis.

As we walk past, I can't help but stop and marvel at the way she does what she so clearly is good at. I'm just so impressed and become completely captured in what she does that I don't realise my boys have kept walking.

When I eventually snap out of it and catch up to them, my husband asks "what were you staring at?"

"I just love the way she coaches, she's the kind of coach I want to be for my students"

And then he says something to me that reminds me why I love this man.

"What makes you think you aren't?"

And while it may sound like I'm buttering my own bread, I kinda have to agree.

The students that I've worked with, either 1:1 as their coach, as part of a Noodle session or inside the Master Freelancer, they have all come back to me to celebrate when they win or make money, and I'm obsessed with those stories.

On a weekly basis, I celebrate them with a comment of "I'm so proud of you" or "This is amazing, keep going" on their stories or socials when I see them achieving the things we planned they would.

I get to be a small part of their freelance success, because they were brave enough to ask for help and use my experience and coaching abilities to solve the problems on their plate and freaking soar.

In a few week's I'm going to be telling their stories, sharing their successes and exploring what makes them amazing. I cannot wait to tell you all about them.

But in the meantime, if you're someone who could use a coach to get you where you want to go faster and help you solve the problems on your own plate, well you're in luck, because right now there's three ways we can do that.

If you're looking for a bite of coaching, then a 90 Minute Noodle Session is definitely the dish. You and me, 1:1, solve the problem on your plate that's costing you mental calories and standing in the way of where you want to go. You also get a weeks worth of support and my eyes on your business. Right now I have 2 spots open for May and 4 spots open for June.

Or if you're wanting something beefier, I've got space for 1 more student for 4 months of 1:1 Coaching. This is where I get super hands on with you, helping you build the bigger picture alongside you. In the past I've helped students build websites, land spectacular clients and make literally thousands of dollars back from their 4 figure investment.

And finally, if you prefer to dine with a group, The Master Freelancer™ is coming back in July. This is my bespoke, intimate group program where the curriculum is set by those part of the experience. I only run this program once a year, and past students have gone on to do incredible things like landing campaigns, creating their own products and landing jobs they never knew they could.

So however you and I end up working together in the future, I can't wait to help you serve up success.

(geddit, cos it's tennis AND food)
