Because bread is free, get it?

Next month marks 3 years since I took the leap and started teaching Pricing for Creatives and Freelancers. Which is kinda mindblowing to say...

Can I tell you Reader, it has not all been sunshine and rainbows. Or cookies and cream.

  • I had some other creative educators tell me pricing was too niche, too limiting, and no one would be interested in learning pricing when others taught more than me.
  • I had days I fell into the trap of comparing myself to other educators, ones with massive teams and resources at their disposal, whereas I was a one-woman band.
  • I had past coaches waste my time and money with their own agenda instead of helping me build my creative business, and my people-pleaser side just felt embarrassed I had let them.

But over those 3 years, I have done so much more than I could have ever planned for.

I've built from nothing, burned it all down, and completely rebuilt the education side of what I do. (Did you know it wasn't always Creative Business Kitchen?)

I've helped literally hundreds of freelancers charge more for their genius through content, courses, and resources, and get messages and DMs frequently proving this πŸ₯°.

I've run 4 group coaching programs, taught over a dozen masterclasses, multiple workshops, built 5 courses, AND now a thriving membership that is welcoming new members by the day.

But that last one is probably the most special part for me because currently, it's feeding my soul in a way I didn't know it could.

We all know freelancing is lonely. Duh.

I personally have spent a decent amount of time searching for freelance friends who actually get it.

The ones who don't question how hard it is to be a freelancer, but see the struggle and provide a perspective that shares it.

The ones who understand the frustrations I face because they have been through them too, and are ready to vent or problem-solve with me.

The ones who see me as a freelancer, business owner, and human, and don't challenge my choice to choose the freelance life, because they made that choice too.

I couldn't find anything that fit the freelance flavour that I liked (that includes the plethora of Facebook groups I've come to loathe) without paying astronomical fees or being expected to go to meetups constantly.

So I decided to make one myself instead.

And I've even built in a Free Tier (AKA the Bread Basket) that's just the community slice and a selection of resources you'll love.

In case you've not heard me talk about it before, let me introduce you to my membership...

β€‹πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ³ The Freelancer's Pantry πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ³β€‹

My monthly membership and online community packed with ingredients and tools to help you make money as a freelancer!

Whether you’re a seasoned freelancer looking to enhance your career or a budding creative eager to turn your passion into profit, The Freelancers Pantry provides the resources and support to help you thrive in the freelance world.

If you want a sneaky peek inside, I've done a 6 minute video walkthrough here.

Over the past few weeks, I've been slowly inviting those who were part of the Pantry 1.0 into the new Pantry set up on Heartbeat and those who came to last weekend's Masterclass. It's been so great seeing everyone chat, connect, share wins, discuss pricing pickles, and form friendships with their fellow freelancers, just like I was craving for so long.

So if you'd like to join us, now is your chance, and I'd love to have you at my table. You can ABSOLUTELY sit with us.

Full disclosure, the link above invites you to the Free Tier as a Bread Basket Member, but you can upgrade to the Staples or Feast membership levels whenever you like, giving you access to more of the pantry of resources and unlocking the replays of ALL of the masterclasses from the last 8 months.

Over the next week or so, I'm going to be sending out access to past masterclass replays tucked in the Pantry to those who have purchased a ticket to attend in the past, so if that's you, expect an email granting you access.

My lofty goal is to have 500 members inside the Pantry by the end of the year and I'm currently 8% of the way there... halp!

If you have any questions, please let me know by replying to this email, you know I'm always good for a chat!

P.s. if you're someone who has signed up to one of my freebies multiple times, this is a good way to consolidate those all in one spot, as they are all tucked inside! Promise you're one of many in this boat lol

Every Wednesday I serve up a healthy helping of tips, tools, and recipes for success on a silver platter to run a freelance creative business that makes you money. From setting prices to finding hungry clients, personalised coaching to free pricing tools, I help you create your own recipe for success that feeds your passion and brings home the bacon.
